*Service Agreement – Terms and Conditions*

*Overview*

Welcome to the Bluewater House Cleaning website (“Site”). This Site is operated by Bluewater House Cleaning (“Bluewater,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the company”). By accessing this website and utilizing the information, tools, and services available, you, the user, agree to comply with all terms, conditions, policies, and notices outlined herein.

By visiting our Site or purchasing services from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms of Service” or “Terms”), which apply to all users, including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and content contributors.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to adhere to these Terms. If you do not agree with any of the terms, you may not access the website or utilize our services.

*Service Agreement*

The Terms and Conditions outlined here serve as a guide for the expectations in our relationship with clients. Any individual or company receiving services from Bluewater House Cleaning must agree to the terms listed on this page.

*Payment*

Payment for cleaning services is due in full at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. A valid credit or debit card may be kept on file for scheduled services. If you plan to pay by check or cash regularly and will not be home during your scheduled cleaning, please leave the payment on the counter. If payment is not received upon our arrival, we will contact you before starting the service. Bluewater House Cleaning accepts payment using the following forms: Cash, personal check, and Credit Card. Please make checks payable to Bluewater House Cleaning.

*Payment Default*

A $35.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks. If a payment is not made by the due date (typically the service day unless specified otherwise), we reserve the right to charge a $25.00 late fee after 48 hours.

*Collection Procedures*

Accounts referred to collections will incur a $100.00 fee, plus any court costs, collection agency, and attorney fees in addition to the balance due. The collection process may also result in a lien on the property that received services if payment is not made within 30 days.

*Service Guarantee*

Bluewater House Cleaning stands behind its services and is committed to providing superior service. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning, and we will work to resolve the issue. Adjustments will be honored within 24 hours of service, provided the service is paid and in good standing.

*Cancellations*

We request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or reservation changes to allow our team to accommodate other clients. If notice is provided with less than 48 hours, a cancellation fee of $50.00 will apply, and all future cleanings will remain unchanged.

*Refunds*

While we strive to deliver outstanding cleaning services, we understand that sometimes areas may not meet your expectations. While we do not offer refunds, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Please inform us within 24 hours of your cleaning about any concerns so we can address them promptly.

*Lost Visits to the Customer*

If we arrive for a scheduled cleaning but cannot access your home, a “lost-visit” fee of $60.00 will apply. All future cleanings will remain unchanged.

*Valuable Items*

If you request us to clean items of monetary or sentimental value, you release Bluewater House Cleaning from all liability associated with cleaning those items. We exercise care in our work, but accidents can happen. For this reason, we maintain general liability coverage. We recommend storing irreplaceable items and notifying management within 24 hours of service if any damage occurs.

*Service Price*

When booking your service, the price is determined based on the job type and property size. However, due to circumstances outlined in the SERVICE LIMITATIONS section, there will be an adjustment proportional to the condition of the property or the additional tasks.

*Service Limitations*

a) Our crews cannot climb higher than a 2 to 3-step ladder. For higher areas, we will use appropriate cleaning tools such as long dusters or Swiffers, with prior agreement for any high cleaning services.

b) Crews will not move items heavier than 35 lbs. Please ensure larger items, such as refrigerators or ovens, are moved to allow access.

c) The property must have water and electricity, and it must be minimally organized. If these conditions are not met, it will be considered a lost visit, and the fee will apply.

d) Areas deemed bio-hazardous (e.g., litter boxes, human/animal excrement) will not be cleaned.

e) Stain removal cannot be guaranteed due to variations in carpet materials.

f) Bluewater House Cleaning is not responsible for color fading, shrinkage, or other adverse effects resulting from cleaning.

g) We are not liable for pre-existing conditions in tile and grout, nor for the removal of coatings or stains resulting from long-term neglect.

h) Depending on the general condition of the property, if different from the package acquired or out of the normality an extra fee may apply.

*Release of Liability*

a) We are not responsible for damages due to improper installation of items. It is assumed that all surfaces are ready to clean without causing harm.

b) Standard cleaning products will be used. If special treatment is required, please notify us in writing before service and provide the special products when our team arrives.

c) Clients must inform us of any surfaces that cannot be cleaned with standard products or methods prior to service.

d) If you feel the service was not satisfactory or damages occurred, please notify us within 24 hours so we can address the issue. After this period, it is assumed other factors may be the cause of the complaint.

*Property Entrance*

Bluewater House Cleaning offers three options for home entry:

1) Clients may choose to be home during their cleaning. If no one is home when we arrive, a cancellation fee will apply.

2) Clients may choose to leave their door unlocked, leave a lockbox, keypad code, or provide access in an unsecured manner, releasing Bluewater House Cleaning from any associated liability for damage.

*Offers and Promotions*

Bluewater House Cleaning may send promotions via email or text. By providing your information for a quote, you consent to receive these promotions. We may take before-and-after pictures of your home for internal use, but we will not publicize them without your consent. Exterior images may be used for advertising, and we respect your privacy by not including identifiable information.
